Named the Hottest Fitness Celebrity of 2010 by EDGE Magazine, Heather Cohen, Lululemon ambassador, master trainer, entrepreneur, motivational speaker, and group fitness guru, has more than 10 years of industry experience. Heather has developed a reputation amongst DC's fitness enthusiasts as the high-energy, challenging, and witty fitness instructor who is the impresario of House Beats Spin offered at Vida fitness and the Total Body Conditioning guru at Washington Sports Club. Heather has cultivated a legion of devoted fans evidenced by the line that forms twenty minutes before her classes begin and the extensive waiting list of personal training clients.

Heather has been featured in the Washington Post and NECN's TV Diner, which broadcasts in 5 million homes. She recently led Miss DC Jen Corey, to a top ten placement in the 2010 Miss America Pageant, by blowing out her competition in the swimsuit category.

Certified as a Specialist in Performance Nutrition by ISSA and nationally certified through: AFAA, NASM, BBU and CPR/AED, Heather's experience allows her to walk into any Group Exercise room and teach formats such as: Spin, Sculpt, Step, Glide, Circuit, Pilates Mat, Performance Hip-Hop, Pilates Reformer, and Boot Camp. Heather was Group Exercise Director and Sport and Health in Ballston and earned her BBA from the George Washington University.

Heather creates an entertaining and challenging environment in her classes and a sense of community. It's not uncommon to walk by one of her classes and hear the group singing a chorus to a song or counting down the number of repetitions. This atmosphere fosters allegiance and brings each attendee one step closer to reaching his/her fitness goals.
